Afternoon. Stroll through the old medina, then along Boulevard Mohammed V for its Art Deco facades. Take a break on Mohammed V Square.
Evening. Dinner at Rick's Café or a restaurant in the Gauthier district.
Day 2: neighborhoods and souks
Morning. The Habous quarter: souks, bookshops, the olive market and traditional pastries.
Lunch. Couscous or tagine in a local restaurant.
Afternoon. Shopping in Maarif, then a visit to the Villa des Arts or a downtown gallery.
Evening. Drinks on a rooftop, dinner in Maarif.
Day 3: the ocean
Morning. A run or walk along the Ain Diab Corniche.
Lunch. A meal facing the sea.
Afternoon. The beach, or Morocco Mall and its aquarium if the sky is grey.

Getting around
Red petit taxis are everywhere and cheap (often 10 to 30 dirhams per ride in town). The tram links downtown, the Corniche and several neighborhoods.
Where to stay
For this itinerary, Maarif is ideal: central, lively and 10 minutes from the Corniche. See our apartments in Maarif and all our rentals.
