Mohammed V Airport: How to Get to Central Casablanca

Mohammed V Airport is about 30 km south of Casablanca. Depending on your arrival time, luggage and budget, you have four options.

1. The ONCF train: the cheapest

There is a station beneath the airport. Trains run to Casa Voyageurs and Casa Port stations in about 35 to 45 minutes, roughly every hour during the day. A second-class ticket costs around 50 dirhams.

• Pros: low price, no traffic jams
• Cons: no trains late at night, and you still need a petit taxi to your accommodation

2. The grand taxi: the most direct

White grand taxis wait outside the terminal. Fares are fixed and posted: expect around 300 dirhams by day to the city center, a little more at night. The ride takes 40 minutes to an hour depending on traffic.

Tip: agree on the price before you leave and have dirhams in cash.

3. Private transfer: the most comfortable

4. Car rental

Rental desks are in the arrivals hall. Useful for exploring the region, less so for driving downtown, where parking is hard. Several of our apartments have secure parking.
